Moso Island Luxury Retreat is on Moso Island one kilometre off the mainland ensuring a peaceful getaway.
We are fan and sea breeze cooled.
We are a 35 minute drive from the airport and a transfer for up to four people to the island landing via a supermarket stop will cost approximately 6000 VT then the boat across to the home is 1500 VT.
The cost from Port Vila is the same – including the supermarket visit.
We cannot handle late night flights as obviously supermarkets are not open and we have no service to the island so late.
Free internet provided. We do recommend purchasing a Sim card from the airport, for phone calls re boat trips, bus bookings, restaurants etc. The house has 4G internet and is good, but it is good to have your own Data. It is about 1000 VT per gigabyte and can be reloaded.
Vanuatu has a very generous duty free allowance. You should take advantage of that as each person can bring in two 1125ml bottles of spirits, plus three bottles of wine and also a carton of beer that you should purchase on arrival.
Our best tip is for you to forget the clothes in your luggage and bring your favourite foods from home.
Ladies forget the designer outfit, your swimsuit would be best but I guess a step too far for the flight. Just come casual ready for the beach landing (or a short walk from the Harbour if you prefer).
There are restaurants around the harbour so one casual outfit works well.
Locally Terry and Simmah who live on Moso will take care of everything and you will soon have many local friends offering trips, produce and even just a chat.
